The CHIROTA Project Estimated Budget:

• One time establishing cost for one person is US$200.
• The monthly budget for each person is US$30 which will be adjusted according to the need and activities of the Project.

In this occasion, we would like to invite you to participate in this life-saving Project. With your participation we would be able to help more vulnerable elderly people in Ethiopia.

Here are some suggestions to Sponsors and Donors:

3. To cover the one-time establishing cost of US$200 

4. To sponsor one elderly woman for US$30 a month 

US$1.00 provides food, water, shelter and cleaning supplies for one elderly person a day.

Note: The above Budget was set in June 2010 at the time of CHIROTA Project initial establishment.   Since 2020, covering cost for one person for a year is from US$400 to US$500.  Although what we get do not cover all expenses, it was decided to leave the Budget as is, not to impose on the Supporters. At present, the extra expenses are covered by friends and family members.
